Step into the Sacred Circle.

Weaving together two of my favourite practices (yoga and mindful art) - this gathering is an invitation to move, create, and connect from the inside out. Through intentional movement and intuitive expression, we soften the pull of the external world and return to what is true, present, and alive within.

This seasonal offering is rooted in the essence of Spring: a time of renewal, expansion, and fresh beginnings. Together, we gather in a sacred circle to awaken curiosity, invite growth, and give form to what is ready to emerge - through embodied flow and creative ritual.

1:30pm — 4:30pm

So, what is a Mandala?

A collection of nine colorful, geometric chakra symbols arranged in a 3x3 grid pattern.

In Sanskrit, mandala means circle, sacred centre, and essence. Mandalas are used as meditation tools to help focus the mind, cultivate presence, and return us to our inner centre. It was used for centuries in Hindu and Buddhist traditions to represent the universe and reflect the cosmos within us.

Mandala art originated in ancient India and developed through early Hindu and Buddhist practices as geometric representations of the universe. Over time, this tradition spread to Tibet, China, and Japan, where mandalas became powerful contemplative tools for turning attention inward and connecting with deeper spiritual truths.

The mandala represents oneness, wholeness, and infinity - a form with no beginning and no end, mirroring the continuous cycles of life, growth, and renewal.

Mandalas are not limited to perfect circles; they appear organically throughout nature, from the smallest particles to the vastness of the cosmos - in the orbits of planets and moons, tree rings, stones, seashells, ripples of water, and even sound waves.

What to expect?

  • Mandala Yoga

The natural world is ever-changing, moving through seasons and cycles. This reminds us that life is not linear — it unfolds in spirals, twists, turns, and detours. Our bodies, too, are multi-directional, curious, and constantly adapting.

Mandala Vinyasa embraces this organic way of moving. Rather than following rigid lines or a single plane of movement, the practice invites circular, fluid exploration around the mat, reflecting the rhythms of nature and the body.

We will gather in a cosy circle and begin with a 75-minute Mandala Flow, moving in continuous, circular patterns through all corners of the mat. All yoga props will be provided.

  • Mandala Art

This mindful art session begins with intuitive doodling and sketching, guided by prompts inspired by the elements of nature - inviting you to turn inward and connect with yourself.

Just as we explore embodied movement and conscious breath on the mat, we’ll bring the same awareness onto paper — using art as a pathway to connect with our inner world. Rather than striving for “perfect” art, we’ll focus on the process, inviting creativity to flow naturally from within.

There will be time and space to create your own Mandala Art — a symbolic expression of your personal journey, transformation, and intentions for the rest of the year. Guidance, ideas, and inspiration will be offered throughout. All art materials will be provided.

  • “We’re all just walking each other home.” — Ram Dass

Community (sangha) is at the heart of my why. Life is a journey, and we are not meant to walk it alone. This gathering is a gentle space to meet you exactly where you are — to connect with the sangha, to listen, and to share as much or as little as feels right for you.

Herbal tea and plant-based snacks will be provided.

Wen Yee Kok is a Malaysian-Chinese yoga teacher, space holder, and designer-artist based in Bristol, UK. Through mindful, embodied movement, meditation, and art, she invites you to come home - to your body, to your raw, true Self. Wen’s teaching flows with the sacred rhythms of nature and the ebbs and flows of life, unfolding as a curiosity-led, non-linear journey - elemental, soulful, and deeply rooted in presence.

For her, yoga is never just something we practise or do. It is a way of being, feeling, and living as ritual - a rhythm that extends beyond the mat and weaves into the everyday moments of life.

  • “I don’t know what it was, whether it was the practice or the art, or the talking, but I just feel utterly moved and have tears in my eyes when I think about the workshop. The way you hold space is so so beautiful. I could tell that each pose had a meaning behind it and wasn’t there randomly. I also love the circles you made on our papers - honestly, every detail was so thought through and they had such intention behind it that it made me feel really appreciated and well looked after.”

    - Karolina, Spring 2025

  • “Wen created a very safe, calm and inclusive space. Her authenticity and gentleness encouraged me to let go and lean in to myself. Throughout the session, I felt something shift internally and was able to open and flow. Her instruction was so clear and comforting.  The workshop created a sense of togetherness and internal exploration. I felt I could be me and I felt safe.”

    - Kat, Spring 2025

  • "It was such a beautiful and wholesome afternoon of yoga and art. I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially with the art part—I honestly didn’t think I’d do it! But it ended up being so fun to just go with the flow and draw intuitively. Moving in circles on the mat was surprisingly grounding; I became more mindful of the space around me, noticing my left, right, front, and back. Wen’s guidance made everything feel so easeful, and I really felt like I could land back into my body. I left feeling lighter, inspired, and more connected to myself than I ever expected."

    - Jo, Autumn 2025

  • “Wen is someone that teaches yoga and with so much passion, enthusiasm and wholesomeness. I can't tell you how amazingly Wen thought about every single aspect of this workshop, from the space she created to the way she held every single one of us & meeting us where we were. I love how all of us brought our own individuality and creativity into making our own mandala art. Wen’s storytelling at the start of the practice centres and grounds me into the space whilst encouraging me to take what I've learnt into my busy day-to-day life - she really is an absolute gem! Thank you for all the inspiration and wisdom you've given me in the short time you've been in Bristol.”

    - Yasmin, Summer 2025
