A 90-min slow and nourishing flow-to-yin practice embracing Summer, the most “yang” time of the year.
This practice invites you to embody the essence of Summer, a season aligned with the Fire element and the Heart and Small Intestine Meridians in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) - guiding us towards introspection and restfulness. We begin with some gentle, Qigong-inspired flow that incorporates breathwork and self-tapping/massage techniques, to awaken and circulate energy (prana) throughout the body. We will then transition into stillness with longer-held yin poses supported by props, targeting our deeper connective tissues and guiding you into rest.
