As the stillness of winter begins to soften, the expansive energy of spring rises through nature—and through us. This season represents life in full expression, gently awakening the parts of ourselves that have rested through the colder months. Just as the natural world moves into a cycle of renewal, growth, and expansion, so too does our internal energy.
This practice invites you to embody the essence of spring, a season associated with the Wood element and the Liver and Gallbladder Meridians in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Together, we will explore themes of renewal, unfolding, and gentle awakening.
We’ll begin with a slow, embodied prana flow, weaving in pranayama alongside gentle self-tapping and massage to awaken and circulate prana—the vital life force—throughout the body. From there, we’ll gradually journey into stillness with supported yin postures, creating space to land, soften, and attune to the natural rhythm of the season.
