As the days grow shorter and the air turns cooler, the trees release their leaves, and all beings begin to yield to autumn. These are the signs of Yin ascending - a quiet invitation to slow down, soften, and surrender to the turning of the season.
This flow-to-yin sadhana invites you to honour the transition with presence and compassion. Rooted in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, our practice will embody the Metal element, which governs the Lung and Large Intestine meridians - organs associated with breath, release, and letting go.
We’ll begin with a gentle, Qigong-inspired flow, integrating pranayama (breathwork) and self-tapping/massage techniques to awaken and circulate prana (life force) through the body. Gradually, we’ll journey into stillness with supported yin yoga postures - allowing space to land, rest, and realign with the rhythm of the season.
