This online yoga practice is inspired by a Chinese proverb I grew up hearing from my elders:
“Be like bamboo. The higher you grow, the deeper you bow.”
Bamboo may look delicate, but it never snaps. It bends with the wind, dips low, and always rises again. Its strength comes from deep roots that keep it grounded through every storm.
As spring unfolds around us, nature reminds us that growth isn’t only about reaching higher — it’s also about learning how to bend. Life brings challenge, uncertainty, and change, and bamboo teaches us that resilience comes not from resisting, but from learning how to move with what life brings.
We’ll explore the balance between strength and softness through fluid, wave-like movement — bending, swaying, rising and yielding with the breath. A moving meditation that invites us to find steadiness through adaptability rather than rigidity.
Living Vinyasa is an invitation to take your practice beyond the mat - to feel the flow of vinyasa not just in movement, but in the rhythm of your life. Each start of the month, we gather for a 75-min sadhana, weaving breath, intention, and mindful flow into a living practice. Every session carries a theme/intention - a gentle thread you can take with you into your days, letting your practice ripple outward into how you live, love, and move through the world.
