As we rise towards the peak of summer, the days stretch long and full — festivals, travel, gatherings, all the things we've been waiting all year to do. There's so much energy in the air, so much we want to embrace. But this same heat that invites us outward can also leave us depleted, scattered, running on empty before the season's even over.
This month's Living Vinyasa practice moves with Agni, the element of Fire — but not in the way you might expect. Instead of stoking heat until it consumes us, we practise sustaining it: tending a flame that can burn steadily, for the long haul, without scorching us on the way there.
Unlike a burst of intensity, which depends on adrenaline or the mood of the moment, sustained fire asks for something else entirely — a quiet, steady heat that keeps burning even when motivation dips or life gets heavy.
Think of yourself as a firekeeper. In many traditions, the firekeeper's task isn't to build the biggest blaze — it's to stay close to the flame, watch it, feed it what it needs, and protect it so it never goes out. This isn't just a practice for the mat — it's a way of living: a small, tended fire circle you return to again and again, showing up simply to keep the flame alive, in your practice and in your life.
Join us for a nourishing flow that honours the firekeeper in each of us: the one who doesn't need the fire to rage, only to remain — carefully tended, quietly alive, and enough to carry us through.
A movement meditation that feeds and tends to your heartfire.

Pay What You Can
I want this space to be accessible to all. The suggested contribution is £6 to £15, and you’re welcome to pay an amount that feels right for you, taking into account your current circumstances.
I offer this on a trust basis: those who need a lower-cost option can participate without financial strain, while those who have greater flexibility can contribute more, helping to sustain this offering and support the continued growth of the work.
If you can’t attend live, you can still book your place and receive access to the recording to practise in your own time.
Next monthly practice: TBC in September
