Solstice Joy ☀️ (online)

As we approach the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, we gather in the rising energy of joy, radiance, and aliveness. This month’s Living Vinyasa practice explores joy not as something we have to chase or achieve, but as a way of meeting life right here, right now.

Unlike happiness, which often depends on what’s happening around us, joy is something deeper. It’s an inner sense of fullness and contentment that can remain available even when life isn’t perfect. In yoga philosophy, the foundation of this kind of joy is Santosha, or contentment. Derived from the Sanskrit roots sam (completely, entirely) and tosha (contentment, satisfaction, acceptance), Santosha invites us to appreciate what is here rather than constantly reaching for what’s next.

Together we’ll move, breathe, and connect with the simple but powerful idea that joy isn’t just the result of a good day or ideal circumstances - it’s something we can actively cultivate. A practice. A perspective. A way of showing up fully for our lives.

Join us for a nourishing flow that celebrates radiance, presence, and the joy that emerges when we recognise that, in this moment, we already have enough.

Pay What You Can

I want this space to be accessible to all. The suggested contribution is £6 to £15, and you’re welcome to pay an amount that feels right for you, taking into account your current circumstances.

I offer this on a trust basis: those who need a lower-cost option can participate without financial strain, while those who have greater flexibility can contribute more, helping to sustain this offering and support the continued growth of the work.

If you can’t attend live, you can still book your place and receive access to the recording to practise in your own time.

Next monthly practice: 4th July, 8th August
